Delivery Merchandiser

 Hours

Part time 3 days per week, some early starts / late finishes may be required but mostly between 8:00am and 5:30pm.  Future potential for full time position.

 Salary

Self-employed circa £200pw.

 Ideal Person

You’ll need to be:

q       An outgoing friendly person with strong customer service skills. 

q       Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious.

q       Have a positive “can do” attitude.

q       A safe driver, with clean licence and capable of driving and parking a Transit sized van.

q       Living in the Wrexham area.

  The Job

The job requires you to deliver samples of books and gifts to schools and businesses in Shropshire and Welsh borders.  You will need to:

q       Collect and load the van with samples from our storage area in Caergwrle each day.

q       Follow a set route of existing customers – usually within one major town each day but you will need to be prepared to cover all areas of Shrewsbury and Welsh borders on a rotating basis.

q       Deliver one set of samples to each customer, displaying samples to best effect within the space available. 

q       Complete paperwork accurately and legibly.

 The job will initially require the successful applicant to deliver approximately 125 sets of samples per week.  Samples can be delivered at a rate of between 5 to 8 per hour.  There are opportunities for further development of the role, which will be discussed at interview.  Previous customer service experience would be an advantage although not essential as the right attitude is more important than experience.  This vacancy is for someone looking for a long-term position.
